  • Hi-Lo Bonus
  • Double Bonus
  • Win up to 4,000 credits
  • Variable card speed

Basic Play

After placing your bet, click the Deal button and the initial hand will be dealt. At that point you will choose which cards to hold and which cards to change. There is an auto-hold feature that suggests which cards to hold, but you can always change the suggestion and hold whichever cards you wish. Once you've selected your hold cards, click Deal to have the other cards replaced with new ones and to complete your hand.

When your final hand creates a winning poker combination, you win according to the paytable shown in the game. The object of the game is to create the highest possible winning combo. The value of winning hands depends on the specific winning combo that you've created. When you win a hand you've got the option to try and double up your winnings. If you choose to try and double up, you'll see a dealer's card and a set of down turned cards. You must choose one of the down turned cards, if its value is higher than the dealer card you win.

Rules

A standard 52-card deck plus four jokers is used in Champion Poker. The jokers are wild cards and will substitute for other cards to complete winning combinations.
Once you've chosen which cards to hold and clicked Draw, all the cards not held will be replaced simultaneously.
Your final hand will be evaluated using standard poker hand ranking rules.

How To Play

1. Select your credit denomination.

Select how much you want each credit to be worth using the left and right arrows.

2. Make a bet of between 1 and 5 credits.

Set your bet amount by clicking the Bet One or Bet Max button. Each time you press the Bet One button, the credit value amount selected increases by one. If you reach 5 credits and press the Bet One button again, your credits bet number will reset to 1. Bet Max places a 5-credit bet on the hand and deals the cards. Your bet amount will be shown in the Bet display.

If you just click Deal, a 1-credit bet is made by default. On subsequent rounds, the amount of your last bet will be the used as a default bet, but you can change it at the start of each new hand.

The number of credits bet will affect the pay table shown above the cards. The win amounts shown are in credits, and increase when you play more credits per hand. The amount the payouts are worth depends on the amount you selected each credit to be worth.

3. Click Deal.

The cards will be turned over.

4. Select which cards to hold.

The system will automatically hold cards as a suggestion. You can always change the cards being held. The autohold is based on an optimum play strategy for the variant of video poker being played.

You can also hold all 5 cards and then click Draw to keep all original cards as dealt.

5. Click Draw again.

All cards not held will be replaced with new cards. You win if your hand holds a winning combination shown on the paytable.

6. Color Fever Bonus

Each time your final hand results in a flush (all cards of the same suit), the Color Fever bonus game is activated.

The table in the upper right hand corner of the game panel will display how many bonus hands you've got where you'll earn extra credits for every card of the same suit as the winning flush hand which activated the Color Fever bonus.

During your bonus hands, in addition to normal wins, every time you see a card with the same suit as the original flush you will be paid a credit worth half of your bet amount.

Note: If, during a Colour Fever Bonus, you obtain a new Flush combo, the game will not award you with a new Colour Fever Bonus. The free hands that you won for the first Flush will continue until used up.

7. Hi-Lo, Double and Collect

When you win, you've got the chance to collect your winnings or to try and multiply them by playing one of our exceptional bonus games: Hi-Lo or Double. In addition, both of these bonus games offer a side bet which pays extra when you guess the right result more than once.

8. Hi-Lo

When you click on the Hi-Lo button after winning during regular play, the Hi-Lo bonus game will open.
The game is divided into 4 levels. Hi-Lo offers the chance to increase your winnings after each card, and after each level.

The Game

The first card in the Spades level (each level is assigned it's own suit) will be displayed. At this point you must choose whether the next card will be higher or lower than the card displayed. The odds displayed for winning either bet are based on the probabilities of getting a card which is higher or lower than the card displayed. For example, if the card displayed is a 3, the probability of getting a higher card is quite high and so the payout is relatively low. The probability of getting a lower card is very low, so the payout is much higher.

In Hi-Lo, 2 is the lowest card and Ace is the highest. When you see either of these two cards, you will only be able to select the appropriate choice (High for a 2, Low for an ace). In this case you don't win for the individual card but you can consider it a "freebee" to get you closer to finishing the level when playing the extra bonus bet.
After each correct choice that you make, you have the option of collecting your current win or continuing to guess the result of the next card. If your choice is not correct, you lose any winnings you had made up to that point in the Hi-Lo game and the original winnings you made on the hand(s) during regular play.

Extra Bonus

Before starting your game of Hi-Lo, you will decide if you want to activate the Extra Bonus by betting the value of 1 coin.
The Extra Bonus pays for each complete level that you finish, according to the paytable. This payout is in addition to wins accumulated for correctly guessing high or low for each card.

How to Activate the Extra Bonus

Before clicking Start to begin the game of Hi-Lo, simply click the "Hi-Lo Extra Bonus" button shown below. You can always de-activate the extra bonus before you start the game if you accidentally activate the bonus by mistake. 9. Double

When you click on the Double button after winning during regular play, the Double bonus game will open.
With the Double bonus game, 5 cards are randomly picked from a full deck. The first card is revealed and you must choose one of the four remaining cards, with the objective of finding a higher card than the one that was first revealed.

The Game

The game starts with a display of 5 cards face down. Once you click the Start button, the first card will be shown.
You will choose one of the four remaining cards, with the objective of finding a higher card than the one that was first revealed. If you are successful, you will double your previous winnings. If not, you lose any winnings you had made up to that point in the Double game and the original winnings you made on the hand(s) during regular play.
You can continue playing to double your winnings up to 10 times.

Double Fever Bonus

Before starting to play the Double bonus game, you will decide if you want to play the Double Fever Bonus. This bonus costs the value of 1 coin, and pays for 2 or more consecutive correct guesses.
When you guess correctly 2 or more times in a row, you will be paid out according to the paytable. If you continue and guess incorrectly, you will lose any Double Fever Bonus payout that you had accumulated.

Before clicking Start to begin the Double game, simply click the "Double Fever" button shown below.
